Along with the growth of tourism, the hospitality industry in the country is also actively developing. Such a statement made today Head of the National Administration of Tourism. As she noted, in 2025, the country received more than 6 million guests.

Maia Omiadze also explained that the largest concentration of bed places is in two major cities - Tbilisi and Batumi, although the remaining resources are proportionally distributed among various regions of Georgia.

“It is noteworthy that according to statistical data, the hospitality industry hosted visitors from countries that, on the other hand, are among the priority countries and strategic markets of the National Administration of Tourism, including EU countries, Israel, China, and, of course, neighboring countries”, - Maia Omiadze noted.

In 2025, Georgia’s hotels and hotel-type establishments served 6.2 million guests, which is 6.5% higher than the corresponding figure of the previous year. Foreigners accounted for 62.7% of the guests, and most of them, 555.4 thousand (14.3% of the total number of guests), were citizens of Israel, which is 1.0% higher than the corresponding figure for 2024. EU citizens made up 10.4% of the total number of foreign guests.
