Movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri-Kobi section

According to the Roads Department, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section.

Due to loose ice, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is temporarily restricted on the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway of international importance, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

According to the National Environmental Agency, on the Mleta-Gudauri, Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections, vehicle movement will be carried out in a non-stop mode. On the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section, vehicle movement is permitted only through avalanche protection tunnels.
