USAID projects will undergo a review in 3 months, said today Anna Buchukuri, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

“The new USAID administration has established a 3-month review period, which will be reassessed at the end of that timeframe. The Georgian Dream is mistaken in believing that internal political events in the US can work to their advantage. Many things will burst like soap bubbles, as we have already witnessed. I want to emphasize that USAID projects will be evaluated across various countries within 3 months, so we should remain patient and see what unfolds”, - said Ana Buchukuri.

When asked about Elon Musk sharing Mike Benz’s post and video concerning USAID, which also included footage of the Tbilisi rallies, Buchukuri responded: “Elon Musk is a successful businessman in the tech industry, he is not a politician. Therefore, it is somewhat amusing if they believe the Georgian Dream will navigate domestic politics based on Musk’s tweet”.
