The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, accompanied by a delegation, has departed for Beijing, where she will engage in significant meetings with representatives of the Chinese government and leaders of major corporations.

During her visit to China, Mariam Kvrivishvili is scheduled to meet with Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce, and Zhou Haibing, Deputy Chairman of the National Reform and Development Committee. A key agenda item includes the signing of the Protocol on Amendments to the Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and China.

Accompanying Mariam Kvrivishvili are Deputy Ministers Genadi Arveladze and Irakli Nadareishvili, who will participate in the planned discussions in Beijing.

The delegation also features Giorgi Tatishvili, Director of the State Oil and Gas Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Mikheil Khidureli, Head of the "Enterprise Georgia" agency.
