Patriarch`s godchildren lead a procession towards the Holy Trinity Cathedral

The godchildren of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, are leading a procession in honour of the Patriarch.

His Holiness`s godchildren, along with their family members, gathered at Avlabari metro station, from where they will proceed to the Holy Trinity Cathedral [Sameba].

The concept of universal baptism belongs to the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia.

Ilia II’s godchildren are the third and subsequent kids of married couples. The first universal baptism took place in 2008.
