Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues has determined the quotas of the Parliamentary Commission tasked with investigating high prices

The Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues has determined the quotas for the Interim Think-Tank Commission on the Food, Medicines and Fuel Pricing Structures.

The Commission will be staffed with 14 members, headed by Shota Berekashvili, Chairman of the Sectoral Committee.

The Commission will have 7 members from the Georgian Dream party and 7 from the opposition. In particular, Giorgi Gakharia’s team will have 3 quotas, the People’s Power party will have 3, and the European Socialists will have one.

The Commission plans to operate until the end of April to study the reasons for the high prices in Georgia.
