Heavy snow in Tbilisi and its surroundings - municipal services are operating in emergency mode

The relevant departments of the capital’s administration are operating in emergency mode, reads the statement of Tbilisi City Hall.

“The roads are being treated with technical salt, both central and secondary streets are undergoing cleaning… Dozens of specialised vehicles and over 150 employees from Tbilservice Group are engaged in the effort. Besides, representatives from regional administrations are supervising the situation across all 10 districts of the city.

We urge residents to drive only with winter tires during heavy precipitation.

In the event of traffic disruptions, contact the Tbilservice Group hotline at 2 61 90 50 or the Tbilisi City Hall hotline at 2 72 22 22”, - reads the statement from Tbilisi City Hall.
