The Minister of Justice spoke about the activities planned within the framework of the Georgian delegation`s visit to the United Arab Emirates. According to Paata Salia, the purpose of the visit is to participate in the Sustainable Development Summit. In parallel, a number of meetings and the signing of two memorandums of strategic importance for the digital transformation of our country are planned.
"Today, a memorandum of understanding will be signed with the largest company "PRYPCO TECHNOLOGIES", which is a subsidiary of one of the largest construction companies in the UAE and whose main direction is the digitization - tokenization of real estate. This is an important step that will help attract more investors to Georgia, opening the Georgian real estate market to foreign investors.
Most importantly, the technology that will be introduced in Georgia at the stage of implementing this memorandum will be based on blockchain, which significantly increases the transparency of transactions and their reliability", - said the Minister.
He also spoke about the memorandum with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the UAE, which will be signed by the Ministers of Justice and Economy of Georgia: "The document involves the introduction of digital technologies in public administration, as well as the implementation of interesting and innovative projects, such as, for example, smart cities".
As Paata Salia noted, a number of important meetings are planned with large industrial companies of the UAE within the framework of the visit, at which the prospects for future cooperation will be discussed.
