Georgia`s unity around national goals helped the country overcome challenges in 2025, said the Prime Minister of Georgia in the interview with Imedi TV.

"Georgia is far more stable at the end of 2025 than it was at the end of 2024.

One of our priorities was strengthening sovereignty, preserving independence and peace, and pursuing the right economic policies. Ultimately, the country was successful in all these respects. Around us, we are also working to strengthen peace, specifically in our region.

In this regard, we faced particular, I would say, specific challenges in the past period, and this year a lot has been done to address corruption as much as possible. Of course, we will not reduce our efforts in this direction in the future. We have set an ambitious goal: we aim to be among the top three European countries in terms of low levels of corruption.

Education reform plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges our country faces, and naturally, successfully completing this reform will be one of the main tasks we will continue to focus on in the coming year", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
