Despite the injustice we see from the European bureaucracy, we are patiently await turning point – Kobakhidze

Prime Minister of Georgia said today that despite perceived unfair treatment by European bureaucracy, Georgia was exercising strategic patience and was ready to seize any forthcoming opportunities for progress.

As he noted, 2026 could be a decisive year in multiple areas, including on the international political stage, hinting at potential developments that could reshape Georgia’s position and engagement with European partners.

“I believe that 2026 could become a decisive year in various respects, including on the international political stage. Let us wait and see how events unfold. We have adopted a policy of strategic patience… Despite the unfairness we see from European bureaucracy, we are patiently awaiting an opportunity for a turning point, and of course, we will seize any chance in this direction”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
