IV international vocalist competition OPERA CROWN starts in Tbilisi

The IV International Vocalist Competition OPERA CROWN will take place in Tbilisi from November 4 to 8. According to the Ministry of Culture, the event is organized and hosted by the Tbilisi Zakaria Paliashvili State Professional Opera and Ballet Theatre.

"This year, we received over 300 applications, from which 41 young talents have been selected. I am confident that the international jury will do everything possible to open pathways for these young artists onto the world’s stages, fostering healthy competition and artistic growth", - said the Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze.

Singers from 22 countries worldwide will participate this year. A distinguished panel comprising leaders from some of the world`s premier opera houses and agencies will evaluate the contestants.
