Maintaining peace requires great effort, said the Prime Minister of Georgia at an event dedicated to Veterans Day.

“Preserving peace requires tremendous effort - we consistently choose this path because the outcome of war is human tragedy, destruction, and devastation, while the outcome of peace is the country’s progress, development, and greater public welfare.

Striving for peace meant being constantly ready to defend the homeland, and in this perpetual readiness, the experience of veterans was invaluable.

I once again want to thank you for your patriotism, dedication, and the special contribution you have made to the country’s development. We will continue our efforts to properly honor your service. Once again, I congratulate you on Veterans Day and wish you peace, strength, and prosperity”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
