At a briefing held at the Georgian Dream’s office, Minister of Economy, underlined the importance of the ongoing local self-government elections for the future of the country.

"We are seeing numerous statements calling for unrest. At the same time, we see very high voter turnout, and today is significant because every citizen of our country who goes to the polls is sending a response to the opposition parties.

By participating in this election, citizens are saying no to calls for destabilization, no to chaos, and no to a return to the past.

Voting is an expression of support for the country„s development and progress… Through participation in the elections, citizens are standing for peace, stability, and economic advancement in our country", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
