CEC organized information meeting with deaf and hard-of-hearing voters

The Election Administration organized another information meeting with deaf and hard-of-hearing voters. This time the meeting was held in Tbilisi and aimed to provide detailed information about the 2025 Municipal Elections, electoral procedures, and the accessibility of services suggested by the Election Administration.

Giorgi Santuriani, Head of the Working Group on the Issues of Persons with Disabilities of the Central Election Commission (CEC), and Elene Bobokhidze, Secretary of the Working Group, informed participants about the October 4 elections and electoral innovations in general. CEC representatives also shared information on the activities implemented and planned to promote an inclusive electoral environment. The participants received comprehensive answers to their questions of interest related to electoral issues.

The meeting was held on October 1 within the framework of the activities of the CEC Working Group on the Issues of Persons with Disabilities, in cooperation with the Georgian Deaf Union.
