They are discussing scenarios that could generate strong emotions in society, I do not advise anyone to even think about this, let alone attempt it, the response will be very strict - Mdinaradze

Head of the State Security Service of Georgia said the upcoming local elections scheduled for October 4, would be conducted peacefully, stressing that there were no grounds to expect otherwise.

"According to our information, they need to plan something that would provoke strong emotions among people. But I would not advise anyone not only to do such things, but even to think about them. The state’s response would be very tough, and I don’t think anyone would like that kind of legal reaction.

While protests are a democratic right, they must remain within the framework of the law…

If people want to protest, they can do so, but without stepping outside legal boundaries. Elections will be held with dignity, we will face the challenges, and the Georgian state, already strong, will only become stronger", said Mamuka Mdinaradze in the interview with Imedi TV.
