Prime Minister of Georgia criticized Pawel Herczynski, the EU Ambassador to the country, for his actions, noting that “such behavior reflected poorly on European bureaucracy".
"This is another case where it`s no longer interesting to comment on a specific ambassador. Unfortunately, this person has been directly involved in fueling radicalism and polarization. This is very unfortunate, as it reflects the negative face of European bureaucracy.
The Ambassador`s cooperation with activist Anano Tsintsabadze and his refusal to respond to media enquiries were further examples of his interference.
It is very unfortunate and regrettable when a specific ambassador, especially the EU Ambassador, directly tries to fuel radicalism and polarization in our country. I won`t make further comments on this. I simply don`t see the need", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
