Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Zurab Khamashuridze, the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Head of Government of Georgia congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
Zurab Khamashuridze previously served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia. At different times, he was Director of the Department of European Integration at the Directorate-General of the European Union, as well as Minister-Counselor at the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Belgium and at the Mission of Georgia to the European Union. He also worked at the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, initially as Head of the Council of Europe Division and later as Head of the OSCE Division.
