Prime Minister of Georgia visits newly-constructed vocational college in Borjomi

Prime Minister of Georgia together with Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze, visited the newly-constructed vocational college in Borjomi.

The Head of Government of Georgia inspected the college infrastructure and emphasized that the institution will provide young people living in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region with the opportunity to receive vocational education in an environment that meets modern standards.

Irakli Kobakhidze also received detailed information about the vocational programs. As the Minister of Education, Science and Youth noted, the college will primarily offer vocational education programs in tourism, forestry, construction and agriculture - all aligned with the demands of the local labor market and the needs of the population.

The construction was funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. The total cost of the project amounts to 9 513 505 GEL.
