Levan Machavariani, MP from the Georgian Dream, will head the election headquarters of party’s Tbilisi Mayoral candidate and incumbent mayor Kakha Kaladze for the October 4 municipal elections.
Kakha Kaladze opened the headquarters alongside Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
“I would like to thank the Prime Minister, Chairman of our party, for the support and cooperation he is showing towards the projects being implemented in our city. Without this support, it would be impossible to talk about the development of the city. I am sure and believe that with united efforts we will be able to cope with all the challenges that face not only the capital, but the country in general, with dignity. With our unity, with a united spirit, we will definitely overcome all challenges”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
He introduced Levan Machavariani as the head of the election headquarters and noted that the election headquarters will be a place where any Tbilisi resident will have the opportunity to share their ideas.
“Of course, everything needs a leader. Therefore, I would like to introduce Levan Machavariani, whom you all know well, as the head of the headquarters. He is our comrade-in-arms, a member of our team, a worthy person and has been actively involved in the election processes all this time. Of course, he has great trust from our team. He has taken on a huge responsibility that we must win in the first round and complete the elections. In this very responsible situation, of course, our, everyone’s, support for Levan Machavariani and our team is very important. I wish Levan success”, - added Kakha Kaladze.
