As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the Kakheti District Prosecutor`s Office, one person has been detained on the fact of manufacturing and selling forged tax documents.

Investigation determined, that the accused, on behalf of the company being under his actual management, in order to receive illegal material benefit, manufactured and sold forged consignment note, reflecting as if he had delivered construction materials worth of GEL 11 700, in return for which he took GEL 2 500 from an individual.

Investigation is underway under the first part of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which as a type and extent of sentence, envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
