Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Speaker responds to the latest GORBI survey, highlighting that 62% of Georgian citizens trust the country`s legislature - a result he says affirms the legitimacy and performance of the 11th convocation.

"The people support the legislative reforms the Parliament has been implementing over the past several months. Our goal is to act in line with the mandate granted to us by the people.

This trust is another reminder to Brussels that it must respect core European values - the democratic process of decision-making, the will of the people, and legislation adopted based on the people`s mandate. Without this, the EU cannot truly represent Europe", - writes Shalva Papuashvili on his Facebook page.
