Thank you for your solidarity and reliable support - Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine thanks Givi Mikanadze

The Ukrainian Minister of Education and Science, Andrii Butenko, has sent an official letter to the Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, expressing his gratitude for Georgia`s unwavering support.

"The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Centre for Educational Quality Assessment would like to express their deepest respect and sincere gratitude to you for your unwavering support of our country during this extremely difficult period in our history.

At a time when Ukraine is fighting for its freedom and independence, our unity with the civilised world is our greatest strength. This year, Ukrainian applicants who were forced to leave Ukraine due to the war were able to sit entrance exams for Ukrainian higher education institutions in 32 countries around the world.

We are immensely grateful to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and to the educational institutions that have opened their doors and set up safe temporary examination centres for Ukrainian applicants. We would like to express our particular gratitude for creating the necessary conditions, providing the technical facilities and offering comprehensive support in organising and conducting entrance examinations for bachelor`s and master`s programmes at Ukrainian higher education institutions, held at your establishments. Thanks to the efficiency, excellent organisation and the allocation of the computer centres, Ukrainian youth, who are forced to stay abroad, have received equal opportunities to continue their studies and fulfil their right to higher education in Ukraine.

Your solidarity is not just organisational assistance; it is a significant contribution to the preservation of intellectual potential and the future restoration of Ukraine.

We greatly appreciate our reliable partnership and sincerely wish you and all educators in your country professional growth, goodness, prosperity, harmony and happiness! We express our sincere gratitude to the leadership of all educational organisations for finding opportunities to create temporary examination centres, as well as to the teachers, coordinators, and IT specialists with whom we had the honour of cooperating, for their comprehensive assistance in conducting the entrance exams in 2026.

Together we are stronger! Thank you for your solidarity and reliable support. We believe in further fruitful cooperation and comprehensive support for our country from the government of your country", - reads the letter.
