The Global War Party aimed to convince the Georgian people that the Government had strayed from its Western course. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made at today’s briefing.

"They began imposing unjustified sanctions, demonstratively canceled the strategic partnership agreement signed with Georgia for reasons still unclear, and finally, the founder and Honorary Chair of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, was also baselessly accused of ties with Russia and sanctioned.

This blackmail and pressure had a simple goal - the Global War Party, through the [Joe] Biden administration, aimed to convince the Georgian people that the Government had strayed from its Western course.

After that, they intended to use the Georgian people to bring a proxy Government into power that would, literally the next day, drag the country into the war. In response, Georgian public took a dignified step, fully realizing that the Government had saved the country from destruction and the devastating consequences of war. This led to even greater legitimacy for our political team in the 2024 elections.

For our part, driven by our responsibility to the Georgian public, we honorably dealt with the externally funded revolutionary processes after the elections, maintaining peace and economic progress in the country, which is clearly confirmed by studies published by international institutions", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
