Any attempt to sabotage or disrupt the elections is a direct violation of the Georgian Constitution, our national legislation - Papuashvili

Any attempt to sabotage or disrupt the elections is a direct violation of the Georgian Constitution and our national legislation. Such a statement made today Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.

"I want to address everyone, both within Georgia and beyond, to emphasize that any attempt to sabotage or disrupt the elections is a direct violation of the Georgian Constitution and our national legislation. Such actions expose a profound collapse of values among some individuals in Europe and certain puppets in Tbilisi, who oppose democratic elections. They seek to deny citizens their fundamental right to choose their own representatives and self-governance. This constitutes a severe obstacle to the will of the Georgian people and undermines the very foundation of our democracy. These acts are not only violations of our Constitution and laws but also contravene international standards; they represent an attack on Georgian democracy itself.

Therefore, anyone who encourages or organises election sabotage violates international law. This pattern of political aggression is something we have been witnessing increasingly in recent times", - said Shalva Papuashvili.
