As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Main Division for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of an especially large amount of narcotic drugs, detained a citizen of the Republic of Turkey - H.A., born in 1969.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

During the personal search of the detainee and search activities held in a place of temporary residence, law enforcement officers seized 6 packages of the narcotic drug "cocaine" in an especially large amount - up to 150 grams - as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 260, Part III, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
