Practically new stadium will be built in Rustavi, it will be a UEFA category 4 stadium. Georgian Prime Minister said this during his annual report to Parliament.

“As for the number of spectators, I think it will be from 8 to 10 thousand. Since it will be close to the capital, it will be very good to load this stadium not only for the city’s club needs, but also for football teams. For example, for the youth team, as well as for rugby matches. We want to load the Rustavi stadium as much as possible, which will have a very well-developed infrastructure.

As already mentioned, a UEFA category 4 stadium will be built in Rustavi, on the territory of the current stadium”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
