Relations with the US are a very important priority for us, we are ready to restore the strategic partnership with the US, said the Prime Minister of Georgia during his annual address to Parliament.
“It is of particular importance for us to reinforce our country’s foreign policy stance and broaden our international ties. In pursuit of this goal, numerous significant visits have been carried out to various countries. Among them, I personally had significant visits to countries in the region, Central Asia, and the United Arab Emirates. Several visits also took place in Hungary. As you know, Hungary is a key European country supporting our country"s European integration. Participation in international summits was also very important. In all directions, we are trying our best to expand our international connections.

As you know, we made a public statement on this topic, stating that we are ready to restore the strategic partnership with the US, and we are ready to do this with a specific roadmap that will reflect benefits for both countries. We are awaiting reciprocal steps.
We have positive developments in diplomatic representation, including the appointment of Georgia’s Ambassador to the US. We believe recent changes will help reset bilateral relations, and we hope to see the strategic partnership between Georgia and the US restored”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
