Prime Minister of Georgia starts his two-day official visit to Hungary

The Prime Minister of Georgia starts his two-day official visit to Hungary. The welcoming ceremony for Irakli Kobakhidze will be held today, June 11, at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Palace.

Head of the Georgian Government will meet face-to-face with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The two leaders will engage in bilateral negotiations involving their respective Cabinets of Ministers.

As part of the visit, the 2nd session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission will take place in Budapest. During this event, agreements covering cooperation in agriculture, energy, culture, innovation, and sports are expected to be signed. A joint press conference is planned after the Intergovernmental Commission meeting.

Besides, Irakli Kobakhidze will meet with Hungarian President Tamás Šuyok and László Kovár, Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly.
