Revenue Service hosts 17th Silk Road Tax Forum

The 17th Silk Road Tax Forum was held in Tbilisi, jointly initiated by the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the LEPL Revenue Service, and the International Tax and Investment Center.

The event was opened and the participants were welcomed by the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, and the President of the International Tax and Investment Center, Daniel Witt.

During the 2 days, high-ranking representatives of the Ministry of Finance, tax administrations, international organizations, and the private sector discussed important issues of tax and economic policy, data digitization, investments, and regional/international challenges.

A total of more than 100 guests attended the 2025 Silk Road Tax Forum. The International Tax and Investment Center was founded in 1993 and has been holding annual forums since 2005. The goal of the forum is to deepen dialogue among participants on common challenges and opportunities and to develop cooperation.
