The Prime Minister of Georgia commented on the ongoing war in Ukraine, alleging that the Deep State was intentionally prolonging the conflict through the involvement of European bureaucratic bodies.

“There is war, destruction, and enormous casualties in Ukraine. In return, of course, there is good cooperation with the European bureaucracy, but believe me, this is of little comfort to the Ukrainian people.

Georgia had successfully avoided a similar fate and attributed the anger of the Deep State to this very outcome.

The Deep State has tasked European bodies with prolonging the war in Ukraine. Previously, US entities were also involved in this process. Now, the deep state has exclusively delegated this responsibility to European institutions.

The Deep State has its own interests, the deep state uses European bureaucracy for this, though we have our national interests and we will defend these interests to the end. National interest is not to allow what happened in Ukraine. There was a war in Ukraine and there is a war, a destruction, a huge sacrifice.

Of course, it is a good idea to cooperate with the European bureaucracy, but believe me, for the Ukrainian people, this is not a consolation. In Georgia we have been able to avoid this scenario, to avoid the second front, and because of this the deep state is irritated [with Georgia] and used European bureaucracy in relevant actions”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
