The US Embassy in Georgia calls the resolution proposed by the United States to the UN "simple" and "historic".

"The United States proposed a simple, historic resolution at the United Nations today confirming what everyone agrees on: that the conflict is awful, and that the United Nations must unite to end it and show that peace is possible.

The UN Security Council vote to pass the U.S. resolution was a significant win for U.S. diplomacy and President Donald J. Trump"s efforts to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war. This historic action sets the conditions for a path to peace and an end to the carnage", - reads the statement of the Embassy.
