A contract with a private partner for the Anaklia Deep Sea Port project might be inked in the spring of this year. Such a statement made today the Minister of Economy.

According to Levan Davitashvili, “talks in this direction are now ongoing”.

“We anticipate finalizing the contract by spring, or summer at the latest. While I had expected a more accelerated negotiation timeline, we recognize that the involvement of several major global companies necessitates strict confidentiality to ensure optimal efficiency throughout this process”, - added the Minister.
