The UN Secretary-General calls on all actors to refrain from actions which can lead to further violence.

“On Georgia. We are also following with concern the developments in Georgia and stress the importance of respecting freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. It is equally crucial that all reports of human rights violations are investigated promptly and with full transparency.

The Secretary-General calls on all actors to refrain from actions which can lead to further violence and seek to overcome disagreements through dialogue”, - said Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General.
