The First Lady of Georgia, Tamar Bagrationi, delivered a speech in Geneva at a cultural event held within the framework of the World Intellectual Property Organization [WIPO] Assembly.
Tamar Bagrationi spoke about the importance of the long-standing cooperation between Georgia and the World Intellectual Property Organization, noting that the partnership with the organization yields significant results in protecting the country`s cultural heritage and developing intellectual property. She Lady highlighted Georgia`s unique cultural heritage, including the Georgian alphabet, the millennia-old tradition of winemaking, and the country`s rich historical legacy.
The First Lady thanked WIPO and the organization`s Director General, Daren Tang, for supporting the protection and promotion of Georgia’s cultural heritage.
Event participants had the opportunity to discover Georgia`s centuries-old cultural heritage, view historical exhibits, taste Georgian wine, and experience Georgian musical and choreographic traditions.
