The Prime Minister of Georgia offered his condolences to the family and relatives of Georgian poet Tariel Chanturia, who passed away at the age of 94.

"I am deeply saddened by the passing of Tariel Chanturia.

Through his remarkable talent and distinctive literary style, Tariel Chanturia earned the admiration, respect and affection of generations of readers.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones and to everyone for whom Tariel Chanturia`s literary legacy is dear", - writes Irakli Kobakhidze.
