Polish tour operators are getting acquainted with Georgia as a tourist destination

The National Tourism Administration [NTA] of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia is hosting representatives of leading Polish travel companies and LOT Polish Airlines as part of a marketing campaign.

The introductory tour is being conducted in cooperation with the international company Aviareps.

Organized by the NTA, the participating Polish tour operators met with their Georgian colleagues. During the B2B format meeting, they discussed issues of attracting tourist flows from Poland to Georgia, planning joint tours, and deepening cooperation.

"We are hosting tour operators and representatives of LOT Polish Airlines from Poland. We organized a B2B meeting and are also conducting an introductory tour across the country. We introduced the Polish tour operators to the Georgian business sector so that our Polish partners can become more familiar with Georgia`s tourism potential and products. Poland is one of the strategic markets for our country. For the second year now, we have been actively implementing marketing campaigns in EU countries together with partner companies. Accordingly, this activity is part of that large-scale campaign. Such activities help maintain Georgia`s popularity and establish new partnerships for the business sector. Of course, these campaigns are a prerequisite for bringing many more Polish travelers to Georgia", - said Maia Omiadze, Head of the NTA.

The Polish tour operators visited sites of tourist interest, hotels, and tourist infrastructure. They explored Old Tbilisi, Gudauri, Ananuri, Tsinandali, Kachreti, and Lopota, and tasted Georgian cuisine and wine. The goal of the introductory tour is to increase tourist flows from Poland to Georgia and to raise Georgia`s profile in Poland.
