In connection with the funeral of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, on March 21 and 22, municipal buses operating on the Rustavi-Tbilisi route will be free of charge in all directions.

Taking into account the expected passenger flow, the buses will operate according to the current schedule on weekdays.

"I express my condolences and share the grief of all Georgia over the death of the Catholicos-Patriarch.

On the Rustavi-Tbilisi route, on March 21 and 22, municipal transport will operate at full capacity, as on weekdays, and all passengers will be free of charge. Up to 16 thousand passengers will be able to be transported in the Tbilisi direction. The last bus from Tbilisi will leave on all five routes at 01:00 on Saturday", - said Rustavi Deputy Mayor Besik Togonidze.

The aforementioned decision was made by the state commission established in connection with the funeral of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
