By decision of the Government of Georgia, in connection with the funeral of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Tbilisi municipal transport will serve passengers free of charge on March 21 and 22.
Additionally, free transport will be organized for those wishing to travel from the regions to Tbilisi.
“This decision was made by the state commission established in connection with the funeral of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II. According to the commission’s decision, “Georgian Railway” will also serve passengers free of charge. Additional trips will be operated by both road and rail transport”, - reads the Government’s statement.
