Georgian MPs will have the opportunity to hold several meetings in Washington, D.C., said today the Georgian Foreign Minister.

"It has been some time since there have been any relations between the Georgian Parliament and the United States Congress. Therefore, the visit of Georgian MPs to the US is important, because Georgian MPs, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, will have the opportunity to hold several meetings in Washington, D.C., to discuss Georgia-United States relations and how we see these relations developing in the future", - said Maka Botchorishvili.

A delegation of Georgian MPs, led by Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, will attend the "Alliance of Sovereign Nations" summit in the US at the invitation of Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.
