Governments of Slovakia and Georgia are well aware of how important it is to protect the sovereignty of our countries and how important it is to cooperate with each other in this direction. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said this at the joint briefing with her Slovak counterpart, Juraj Blanár.

“The relations between our countries are based on a long history of cooperation and partnership.

Slovakia has always been an important partner for Georgia and Slovakia continues to be so.

The governments of our countries - the governments of Slovakia and Georgia - are well aware of how important it is to protect the sovereignty of our countries and how important it is to cooperate with each other in this direction. Very often we hear criticism precisely because of our sovereign decisions, and in this regard we believe that our cooperation is very important. Protecting sovereignty is the only means that we have today to ensure peace, stability and prosperity in our countries.

This was certainly not our first meeting, we have met many times in different formats, however, it is very important when the political dialogue between our countries is intense and I have the opportunity here today to have a very productive meeting.

We talked about many issues related to cooperation and partnership between our countries. Thank you very much, I really appreciate your friendship and the sincere atmosphere in which today"s meeting took place”, - said Maka Botchorishvili.
