From March 1, employment opportunities available to foreigners in Georgia will be significantly limited by law, accompanied by a constitutional amendment that will prohibit the alienation of agricultural land to foreigners. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this in today`s video address.
"In 2017, our Government introduced an amendment to the Georgian Constitution, which explicitly prohibits the alienation of agricultural land to foreigners.
Safeguarding and preserving Georgia`s national and religious identity remains one of our most vital national priorities, and the Government will do everything necessary to uphold it", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
