Within the framework of her visit to Hungary, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó.
The ministers discussed key issues pertaining to bilateral relations and prospects for further deepening cooperation. In this context, they underscored the importance of maintaining an active dynamic of political dialogue and high-level visits.
Particular attention was devoted to joint efforts to uphold the principle of sovereignty, as well as to the significance of a responsible and peace-oriented policy.
The parties exchanged views on key international issues and reviewed the challenges facing the region. In this light, the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories was addressed, and special emphasis was placed on the importance of sustained support from partners.
