Georgia aspires to renew the strategic partnership with the United States from a fresh start, guided by a specific and well-defined roadmap. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

"Marco Rubio`s message gives us grounds for optimism. Our position is clear, our goal is to restore the strategic partnership with the United States from a clean slate, with a concrete roadmap.

The previous administration deliberately ended and suspended this partnership through its policies. That is the goal we pursue. Mr. Rubio`s message reinforces our optimism. As for the next steps, we must wait for the development of events, and we will express our complete willingness to restore the strategic partnership", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
