Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
"The entire process is expected to be completed by the end of April, but we`re not waiting until the end of April, and we hope to see progress before then. Naturally, this is a complex issue. Today, we had meetings with fuel importers and representatives of gas stations. Although prices here are significantly lower than those in Europe, we still believe there is room for further reduction. The process will continue.
Even more significant are food prices and the potential to lower them. Based on the meetings held so far, we believe there is scope for price cuts, and our efforts will continue. The Parliament will be involved through its commission, and the government remains committed to this process. We have a social responsibility to society, and we will act in accordance with this responsibility to the very end", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
