The United Neutral Georgia party released a statement regarding the events unfolding in Minneapolis, US, condemning violence from both border service agents and protesters.

"We would like to respond to the alarming processes taking place in the US, specifically in Minneapolis, and the violence we are witnessing on the one hand from the state, in this case from Border Patrol agents, which has already resulted in the murder of two people, and on the other hand, the acts of violence and the disorder caused by the protest participants.

Anyone following these events can clearly see the situation is grave and alarming, as evidenced by President Trump`s statement placing blame on Minneapolis`s mayor and Minnesota`s governor for the killings and accusing them of "inciting insurrection".

It is astonishing that since the beginning of these alarming processes and mutual violence in the US, we have not seen even evaluative statements from European institutions or specific leaders regarding the events taking place in Minneapolis.

Especially against the backdrop of the fact that European institutions, leaders of a number of European states, and European bureaucrats constantly react instantly not only to similar, but even much more insignificant processes. The most striking example is Georgia and the revolutionary processes in our country over the past four years", - reads the statement.

It highlights what it calls double standards, recalling how Georgian law enforcement handled protests with "surgical precision" despite violence from demonstrators, including the use of Molotov cocktails, attempts to storm Parliament.

The statement particularly references the October 4 "peaceful overthrow" attempt, when protesters breached the Presidential residence grounds, a violent coup attempt that European leaders allegedly supported rather than condemned.

"In contrast to events in the US, we witnessed absurd statements from European leaders, representatives of the previous US administration, and European bureaucrats who groundlessly accused authorities of using force against "peaceful protesters". In the end, the matter even reached the point where the BBC accused the Georgian Dream of using a banned substance from the World War I, "camite", although, as the investigation established, not only was "camite" not used to disperse the rallies, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs never purchased this substance, including during the rule of the “National Movement"

Despite Georgia`s repeated appeals, European leaders never condemned protester violence but were physically involved in attempts to radicalise processes and change the government through revolution. Following the revelation of the truth, no one took responsibility for the organised campaign against Georgia.

All of this confirms what we have been openly declaring for years: that the United States, European countries, and much of Brussels`s bureaucracy are actually controlled by the “Deep State". Consequently, it`s hardly surprising they simply don`t notice what`s happening in Minneapolis," the statement concludes.

At the same time, this is another clear confirmation of the unfair attitude and double standards that we have been seeing towards Georgia for years, although, unfortunately, we believe that in today`s rapidly changing political environment, which is mainly dictated by the "Deep State", examples of such an attitude towards our country will not only decrease, but may even increase, because this is precisely the price of protecting peace and sovereignty", - reads the statement.
