Government Commission on Food Prices meets with retail market representatives

The Government Commission on Food Prices has been meeting with retail market representatives for an hour. The Commission will submit its report in April.

After the first meeting, it became known that the Commission will discuss not only food prices, but also medicine and fuel prices. One of the main functions of the Coordination Council is to objectively determine what factors influence the composition of product price increases.

This will be one of the main issues to be discussed at the meeting of the members of the Coordination Council, led by the Head of Government, and the heads of retail markets.

According to the Georgian Dream, the Commission will work for 3 months. In parallel, a parliamentary study of the issue will be conducted.
