Kaja Kallas` actions were not corresponding to the healthy partnership framework between the EU and Georgia, which the country has been striving to build for years - Matikashvili

Chairman of the Parliament`s Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules said the EU High Representative Kaja Kallas` actions were not corresponding to the healthy partnership framework between the European Union and Georgia, which the country “has been striving to build for years".

"Given the serious challenges facing the EU and the turbulent environment in general, the Union should be pursuing a more thoughtful, prudent, and balanced foreign policy. Instead what is being observed is an absolutely low-quality and groundless policy that serves not EU interests, but those of informal forces.

Kaja Kallas` actions were inconsistent with the healthy environment of partnership between the EU and Georgia, which our country has been striving to build for years", - said David Matikashvili.

His comments came after European Parliament Vice-President Javi López stated that Kallas was unfit for the position.
