The visit of the Head of Government of Georgia to Abu Dhabi has ended. The Prime Minister delivered a speech at the Sustainable Development Week Summit. The main topic of the leaders’ dialogue was the Middle Corridor and connecting Europe and Asia through energy.

Irakli Kobakhidze spoke on the international platform about Georgia’s role, its strategic location, infrastructure projects, construction of the Anaklia port, the Black Sea cable and the country’s European integration. Before that, he met with the President of the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting focused on the dynamics of the development of bilateral relations, which is facilitated by close political ties. Irakli Kobakhidze also held meetings with the Regional Director of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, founder of one of the largest investment companies “Damac Properties”, the Executive Director of the company PRIPCO, founder of the largest development company “Eagle Hills”.

The Head of Government once again emphasized the special importance of the largest investment project in the history of Georgia and noted that it will give a new impetus to the development of the Georgian economy.
