Conflict brewing in Europe is obvious - Kaladze on the possible replacement of Kaia Kallas

Mayor of Tbilisi said today that European bureaucracy is "completely bankrupt" and has maintained an unfair attitude toward Georgia for years. Such a statement he made while commenting on recent remarks by the Prime Minister of Slovakia regarding EU official Kaja Kallas.

"Let`s wait and see. I think we can all observe the processes unfolding in Europe and, in general, around the world. European bureaucracy, which is bankrupt in every sense, continues to make statements and demonstrate its attitude toward countries overall. In this case, our focus is on our own country, and with regard to Georgia, we can say that there has been an unfair approach that has lasted for months and years.

As for the internal processes in Europe, the relations within the bloc and the confrontation among them are now out in the open. We will see and continue to observe how developments unfold in Europe", - said Kakha Kaladze.
