The New Year`s Address by the Founder and Honorary Chairman of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili:

"Dear fellow citizens! Georgians living in Georgia and abroad! I congratulate you on the upcoming Christmas and New Year! May it be a year of peace, unity and success for our families and our country. I wish each of you good health and prosperity. At the same time, I wish you to believe in a better tomorrow, because together we are building the future of a strong and successful Georgia for ourselves and our children!

The past year was full of challenges and difficulties. The society clearly saw how a global, evil force was fighting against Georgia. A force that has an unhealthy ambition to rule the world. We all saw together that open, undisguised and unequal confrontation between Georgia and the Against sovereignty and unity, the confrontation against the Georgian people, which took place both inside and outside the country.

Despite the most difficult challenges, in 2025, through the wisdom of the Georgian people and the balanced, calm, and pragmatic politics of our political team, we responded appropriately to every challenge, faced all external blows with dignity, and did not take a single step back in the fight for our homeland, our people, and Georgia’s sovereignty.

Of course, we do not intend to stop or give up in 2026 either, because behind us stand our homeland, our families, our culture, and our traditions; behind us stand our kids. Therefore, there is simply no way back! We have no choice! We are obligated before our homeland, our nation, and our ancestors to protect every value and principle that has proudly carried our centuries-old people to the present day!

Let no one be under the illusion that I personally, or our political team, will get tired in this unequal struggle. The most important thing is that our people, exactly as they have done so far, will clearly distinguish in 2026 who is the enemy of Georgia and who is a friend! I objectively assess the situation and I am sure that it will be so, because to my pride, a society has been formed in Georgia, whose deception and manipulation of emotions is not only not easy, but impossible! Yes, such is His Majesty the Georgian people today!

Personally, I, as one of the ordinary soldiers of my homeland, together with my political team, will be on guard of our country and our families in 2026! We will fulfill this difficult and honorable mission honestly until our society considers it necessary that our service is important for Georgia!
